If you are Wonderfully lucky and get the 4th floor, please read:
We have spent a lot of time and money on lighting to set the mood each month as well as getting clearance from the hotel to do so.
* Please keep your doors shut if you don't have blacklights or dimly colored lights in your room or we will ask you to keep your door closed.
* We are not allowing “outside your room” lights anymore. People have gotten too carried away and it has become too bright in some areas. This causes our security not to be able to peer down the hallways. If you have bright-colored lights and keep your door open, please use door streamers or beads to block the light.
* Place an 8.5 x 11 paper sign with your VAF screen name outside the door indicating it's OK to welcome guests into your room. Please keep music levels to a minimum. We have a DJ area if you want to hear music. We have strategically placed people in the hallway to minimize disturbance to other guests in the hotel. Failure to due would have you removed from the club permanently.
* Do not invite anyone outside OUR club to your room. Anyone harboring any Non-member or Non-paying member will be banned from the club permanently. This puts us and other members at risk. Please report anyone in your room without the proper wristband. We are serious about this rule!
* You must keep your door open to ALL members. This is not your "Personal Party". If you want to do that then go somewhere else and do it. No party rooms are allowed other than on the 4th floor.
We will start winding down the party after 1:30ish, we expect you to do the same. If you haven’t been laid by then, it probably ain’t gonna happen. If you do not wish to adhere to these rules, please let the front desk know when you check in to put you on the 3rd floor. If you need a Blacklight please ask the VAF staff. Please do NOT blast any music as we have other guests on the 3rd Floor. We have enough music in the Hospitality Suite if you want to dance. We fill the rooms below it but not down the hallways.
Please clean up your mess. Keep your themes simple unless you don't mind cleaning it up. Don't use tape on the walls or things that mare up the walls in these newly renovated rooms or you might get a charge on your card. The maids love us and we want to keep it that way. If you leave a large mess in the room, leave a large tip too.
We hate to have these rules but understand that the hotel allows us to have these parties upstairs because we obey these conditions. It took years of trust in the hotel to get us to have these types of parties and get away with what we do. It doesn't do us any good if you get it shut down. Don't worry, I have no problem pointing out the asshole that caused it.
Don't get me wrong, we really appreciate the members that adhere to the rules and put forth effort, money and time to make sure that everyone has a wonderful experience. Thank you all so very much, you guys ROCK!
